Bret Anthony Johnston was born, raised, and educated in Corpus Christi, Texas, which is the setting for his first and highly anticipated collected of short stores. He attended Chula Vista School of Fine Arts, Haas Junior High School, King High School, Del Mar College and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
